She arrived with her sister Avery and was initially quite fearful, but we've loved watching her confidence blossom. Once River knows she can trust you, her playful, affectionate personality starts to shine! River enjoys her walks and has shown lovely potential with polite dog friends. She may even benefit from living with a calm, confident male dog pending meets, or having some regular doggy friends to enjoy walks with. River is looking for a **quiet, patient home** that will give her time to settle and allow her to approach new people at her own pace. Calm and gentle teens **13+** may be suitable pending a meet. With patience, positive training and a family willing to earn her trust, River will make a beautiful companion. 🐾
