Meet Avery 💛 Avery is a lovely, sensitive girl looking for a patient family who can give her the time she needs to find her feet. She came to us from a local pound with her sister River through no fault of their own, and the girls are now looking for **separate homes** where they can each build their confidence and bond with their new families. Avery can initially find new people and busy environments a little overwhelming, so she's looking for a calm home where nobody will rush her. Give her time, gentle encouragement and plenty of positive experiences and you'll begin to see her confidence grow. She's shown us that she can enjoy the company of polite dogs and may benefit from living with a **calm, confident male dog** pending meets. Avery would love relaxed sniffy walks, enrichment and positive training with her new humans. Calm and gentle teens **13+** may be suitable pending a meet. Avery is a beautiful girl who just needs someone willing to give her plenty of time, patience and kindness while she learns that the world isn't quite so scary. 🐾
