Overview

Elsa is a friendly, gentle girl who has recently arrived from the pound. She is a double merle and appears to have reduced hearing and vision. New owners should approach calmly, avoid startling her with unexpected touch and allow her time to become familiar with her surroundings. A supportive home with owners comfortable managing a giant breed dog with hearing and vision impairments. Focus on rest, recovery and helping Elsa settle into a safe, predictable environment. This gentle giant loves to sniff and would love a home where she can get lots of scent based enrichment! Kids 13+, pending a meet. Provided they understand her sensory limitations and give her space. Care should be taken around stairs, obstacles and unfamiliar environments due to her reduced vision.
